So, the race licence is sorted, the gear is here and it looks like I’ll be competing at my first event this summer. I’ve restrained from any upgrades to the car, but it could be fun to add some stickers.
I love and hate the idea of putting a livery on my car. Would be fun for the race events, but would feel a bit of a fool popping down to Sainsbury’s as Lightning McQueen.
Anyway, thanks to AI I can quickly mock up some concepts, none of which I will be going with, but just for fun, I thought I’d share…
First, let’s keep it sensible, make my red car black and add some BoxBoxBoxCo branding.

I do like all of these, mostly for the nostalgia of watching F1 as a kid, but going to the shops looking like this, that’s a hard no.
…and finally, what about the worlds most famous talking car (sorry KITT) – Lightning McQueen – this has to be my favourite. If I get any good at this race driving lark, maybe I’ll do this for a laugh one day.
